Whether caused by an accident or by aging parts, things can go wrong with your guitar. Repairs are sometimes necessary to restore your instrument's playability or regain its appearance.
Setups
This is probably the most important aspect in regard of the instrument's playability. I ensure that customers receive a setup that makes their guitars a pleasure to play. A setup includes:
- A full evaluation of the guitar.
- Adjusting the truss rod for proper neck relief.
- Checking, adjusting, and lubricating nut slots.
- Adjusting, cleaning, and lubricating the bridge.
- Adjusting tremolo system to customers' preference.
- Checking and adjusting bridge saddles.
- Setting bridge and saddle heights to customers' preference.
- Setting intonation.
- Adjusting pickup height.
- Checking and tightening all screws.
- Conditioning fretboard.
- Cleaning instrument appropriately.
- Installing new strings.
Secondhand Instruments
This is for customers who have an instrument to sell or are looking for secondhand instruments to purchase. I will do my best to entertain most sales and purchases, but it all depends on my finances. Confirmed deals are not guaranteed. Vintage instruments are very welcome.
