1956 Fender Stratocaster

1956 FENDER STRATOCASTER - Purchased from a customer.

This vintage beauty has been modified to such an extent, its vintage market value renders it practically worthless. An amazing guitar, nonetheless. Truss rod adjustments; Checking, adjustments, and lubrication of nut slots; Adjustments, cleaning, and lubrication of the bridge; Adjustments of the tremolo system; Checking and adjustments of bridge saddles; Bridge and saddle heights set to very low; Setting intonation; Pickup height adjustments; Checking and tightening of all screws; Conditioning of fretboard; Appropriate cleaning of instrument; Installation of new strings.

Repairs included replacing messy home-made wiring; Replacing broken middle pickup tone pot; Replacing missing tremolo arm.

Modifications included swapping old strap locks with new Dunlop standard strap buttons.

Fingerboard: Scalloped 21 fret Maple with black dot inlays.

Pickups: Original neck single coil, DiMarzio middle single coil, and Seymour Duncan 59 bridge humbucker pickups.
Electronics: 1 volume and 2 tone controls. 5-way pickup selector switch.
