2010 PRS 25TH ANNIVERSARY SE CUSTOM 24 - Won this guitar in the Sony Music Entertainment Santana Contest.

The guitar was in astounding condition. Truss rod adjustments; Checking, adjustments, and lubrication of nut slots; Adjustments, cleaning, and lubrication of the bridge; Lock down of defective tremolo system; Checking and adjustments of bridge saddles; Bridge and saddle heights set to very low; Setting intonation; Pickup height adjustments; Checking and tightening of all screws; Conditioning of fretboard; Appropriate cleaning of instrument; Installation of new strings.

No repairs were required for this guitar.

Modifications included installation of bone nut; Bolting the pickups to the body for more body tone; Application of a thin see-through film to protect autograph.

This guitar was in good condition compared to the other units I have seen. 1980's HOFMA HM-34 - Purchased from Joe Rozario of Joe's M.A.C in AmCorp Mall, Petaling Jaya.

Typical secondhand 80's guitar. Needed a lot of work. Truss rod adjustments; Checking, adjustments, and lubrication of nut slots; Adjustments, cleaning, and lubrication of the bridge; Lock down of unstable tremolo system; Checking and adjustments of bridge saddles; Bridge and saddle heights set to very low; Setting intonation; Pickup height adjustments; Checking and tightening of all screws; Conditioning of fretboard; Appropriate cleaning of instrument; Installation of new strings.

Repairs included replacing broken High-E tuner; Replacing missing Low-E tuner's bracing; Replacing broken tone pot; Replacing broken third mini-switch; Rewiring messed up circuitry; Replacing missing top strap button; Replacing dead neck pickup.

Modifications included bolting the pickups to the body for more body tone; Installation of bone nut.

1984 Yamaha SG2000S

1984 YAMAHA SG2000S - Purchased from Joe Rozario of Joe's M.A.C in AmCorp Mall, Petaling Jaya.

Despite being over 25 years old, the guitar was in very good condition. Truss rod adjustments; Checking, adjustments, and lubrication of nut slots; Adjustments, cleaning, and lubrication of the bridge; Checking and adjustments of bridge saddles; Bridge and saddle heights set to very low; Setting intonation; Pickup height adjustments; Checking and tightening of all screws; Conditioning of fretboard; Appropriate cleaning of instrument; Installation of new strings.

Repairs included gluing the truss rod cover back together. It had to be broken to access the truss rod. The previous owner super-glued it on for an unknown reason; Pots needed to be cleaned and lubricated from slight rusting and dust; Missing toggle switch cover replaced; Loose knobs tightened.

Modifications included bolting the pickups to the body for more body tone; Removing of pickguard.
